Education & Work Experience

2021- Present

Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
Griffith University

I am acquiring essential skills such as academic writing, critical thinking, and information synthesis in my current pursuit of a Psychology degree. Engaging in group assignments hones my teamwork and communication abilities, while counseling skills units foster empathy and interpersonal skills. The demands of continual study instill discipline and time management, providing a solid foundation for navigating academic and professional challenges. I received an Academic High Achiever Award in 2023 for recognition of my efforts.

2022 - Present

Team Supervisor
NET Ministries Australia & New Zealand

Leading a Youth Ministry team to encourage young people to live for more in their lives through retreat and reflection style days. This valuable experience in religious settings and volunteering provides a foundation for empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to serve others. These experiences have wired me to begin to understand the diverse facets of human nature and the importance of connecting on a deeper level.

2021

Mental Health First Aid Certificate
Mental Health First Aid Australia

I learned skills to recognise and respond to someone experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until professional help is received or the crisis resolves. I became equipped with the skills to listen, connect, and offer support when it matters most, playing a vital role in reducing stigma and promoting pathways to support those experiencing mental health problems in my workplace, community, and tertiary institutions.
